Programme Phases

Phase 1

Programme Application (in home country)

We provide Information enabling you to take an informed decision about living in Germany. 

Reality check: Would a job in Germany meet your aspirations?  

We verify if you meet the necessary qualifications and have the required documents.

Phase 2

Preparation - Pre-job contract (in home country)

Intensive German language course 

CV and interview coaching, understanding German work contracts 

Job matching – contract negotiations with employer

Phase 3

Preparation – Post job contract (in home country)

Intensive language course until reaching level B1 

Employer applying for your work permit 

Application for work visa 

Intercultural training and training on culture, rights, laws, regulations 

First contacts to relevant support initiatives for migrants

Integration (in Germany) 

Support through local MoxieMinds team

MoxieMinds Germany Network 

Am I eligible to apply for MoxieMinds’ Programme? 

  • Am I / Have I been a scholarship holder of the following programme(s): Amideast, DAFI, Hopes Leb, Jusoor, ULYP or am I student of the Lebanese University's Faculty of Technology or Science?
  • Am I between 20 and 30 years old and live in Lebanon? 
  • September 2023 cohort: Do I hold a university degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering and related subjects? Or do you have a university degree and more than 3 years of documented working experience in IT?
  • Do I hold a valid passport (or equivalent for refugees)?
  • Do I have a good command of the English language? 
  • Am I committed to achieving a B1 proficiency of the German language during a 6 to 9-month language training programme? 
  • Am I willing to participate in a saving scheme by funding my language training upfront and accept to be fully reimbursed upon arrival in Germany to have funds before getting first salary?  (pricing shared during Webinar and in eligibility check)
  • Am I willing to relocate from Lebanon to Germany?

For those interested to apply, we have put a list together of all necessary documents. Please review the list. Having the documents ready will make the process of applying to MoxieMinds' Programme smooth and efficient.

Documents required for your application:
  1. A copy of your university degree and transcript.
  2. A copy of your passport (for Palestinians in Lebanon: travel document).
  3. A copy of certificate/s for any non-academic/vocational training you have.
  4. A copy of certificate/s for any internships you completed.
  5. A copy of certificate/s for any volunteering you have participated in.

By gathering all of these documents beforehand, you can ensure that your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Please note, if you are holding a degree from any other university than the Lebanese University, you will require a statement certifying the equivalence of your degree from the Lebanese Ministry of Education's Equivalence Committee. We will advise you on getting this document.
